Available Positions: 

Art Director (Full-Time, Full-Year)

Art Director for both North & South Side facilities doing unique, relevant and fun arts programming with youth and teens, grades 1-12. After-School program hours from 3:00-8:00 p.m., plus planning time before kids arrive.

Full-time, Full-year position, Monday-Friday. 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities and Duties

Daily leadership, support and encouragement of arts programming at both Club units;
Attract & retain new Club members;
Implementation of BGCA's FFI and NYOI initiatives in partnership with the program team;
Encourage full participation in national BGCA Arts exhibitions & competitions;
Develop & strengthen mission-oriented Club partnerships with other community organizations;
Coordination of both program and community volunteer activities at the Units;
Opportunity identification & support of the Grant submission and measurement processes;
Development of annual arts program budget and ownership of monthly expenditures to plan.
Qualifications and Skills

Must be flexible, able to manage time effectively and be a team-player. Experience working with youth and classroom management skills a must. The candidate should be able to teach youth art techniques from their own skill set to help them grow in their abilities. B.A. degree preferred, but not required.


Teen Program Coordinator (part-time, with benefits)

We are searching for a Teen Coordinator for our North Side facility, to build relationships with kids 8th-12th grades and make a positive difference in their lives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with teens, some college education, a proven track record of mentorship and guidance, knowledge of the Club and ability to plan and implement programs and activities that support the Club's three areas of focus: Character and Leadership Development, Academic Success, and Healthy Lifestyles. Leadership skills and a positive attitude are a must. The candidate must be available during the school-year during after-school program hours, which are 2:00-8:00 p.m. and summer hours will be approximately 10:00-4:00. This position is part-time, with benefits.
